Document Description
An emergency project to replace an existing 72-inch corrugated metal pipe culvert crossing beneath State Route 4 in western San Joaquin County. The culvert has failed and the fill slope supporting the south side of the road has eroded and threatens the stability of the highway. The culvert would be removed by saw cutting the pavement and excavating the fill prism around the pipe. A new 72-inch reinforced concrete pipe with rubber gasketed joints would be installed.
