Document Description
The Santa Ana Regional Interceptor (SARI) line is an important infrastructure link moving irreclaimable waste and sewage3 from their sources to a treatment facility in Orange County. This project will place two sediment traps adjacent to existing brine line manholes to collect solids and sediments above two inverted siphons. The project is located within an existing public right-of-way. This activity will allow pipeline to flow at full design capacity, reduce maintenance costs and reduce the chance of spills resulting from sediment clogging the siphons.
