The purposes of the Project are to 1) reduce sediment by infiltrating urban storm-water runoff, identifying priority neighborhoods that contribute pollutant loads in the Middle Truckee River watershed, and evaluating BMPs to reduce these loads, and 2) comply with the middle Truckee River Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL).
