Document Description
Stevedoring Services of America Terminals, LLC (SSA), a tenant of the Port of Oakland (Port), submitted a Port building permit application for installation of fiber optic cable between the two terminals it operates. The additional fiber optic cable would improve the communication and security infrastructure by creating a data link between the two terminals. The cable installation will run through a combination of existing conduit, routed aboveground, or through directional boring or micro-trenching underground.
