The proposed action will be conducted in compliance with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liabilities Act (CERCLA), the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP) and Chapter 6.8, Division 20, of the California Health and Safety Code. The actions to be taken at the Sierra Army Depot 210 Area are intended to remediate contaminated groundwater and prevent exposure to contaminated soils that pose unacceptable risks to human health and the environment. The proposed actions are intended to be the final remedy for the site.
