Document Description
NOTE: Shortened Review The City of Half Moon Bay Public Works Department is proposing the phased construction of the Highway 1 Trail Improvements Project in the south-central portion of the City. The Class I pedestrian trail (i.e. pedestrian and bicycle travel on a ROW completely separated from a street) would be an 8.0 ft wide AC patch with 2.0 ft shoulders with a 5.0 ft exterior setback from the edge of roadway pavement. The trail would be constructed behind existing/new roadway curb to provide a vertical barrier from State Route 1. The proposed trail project includes installation of a pedestrian bridge over the Kehpe Drainage channel and keystone-style retaining wall at the Belleville and Grand Boulevards.
