Document Description
The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) is approving a final Remedial Action Plan (RAP) pursuant to authority granted under Chapter 6.8, Division 20, California Helath & Safety Code (H&SC). The purposed of the RAP is to implement remedial actions for the Site that is protective of public health and safety and the environment. The Site includes three areas at teh Presidio in San Francisco that we identified as Fill Site 1 (FS1), Landfill 2 (LF2) and El Polin Spring (EPS). Soil and debris from FS1 and LF2 were contaminated with metals, pesticides, dioxins/furans and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). The selected remedial actions are soil and debris removal and offsite disposal for FS1 and LF2 and no action for EPS.
