Document Description
CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 (SAA# 1600-2010-0071-R6) of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Town of Mammoth Lakes. The applicant proposes to install a culvert impacting an area through an ephemeral drainage approximately 20 feet by 30 feet. The culvert will be placed using a backhoe and backfilled with a composition of screened stockpile material, course sands, and crushed rock compacted to support asphalt paving. Asphalt paving will be constructed over the culvert to develop the Manzanita to Shady Rest bike path. A revegetation and monitoring plan has been prepared for the disturbed area. Construction is expected to begin in June 2010 and will take approximately 60 days to complete.
