The General Plan directs the long-range management, development and operation of Topanga State Park by providing broad policy and program guidance including goals, guidelines and objectives for the management of the Park. The plan will set aside a number of management zones including a Wild lands Zone, Cultural Preserve, Historic Zone as well as other zones for resource management, visitor use and accessible interpretive and recreational programs. The Plan also contains specific proposals to consolidate the Park's trail system through eliminating duplicate trails and relocating trails away from sensitive resources.
