Document Description
Merger of seven existing redevelopment project areas in the South Los Angeles Community Plan area. The purpose of the SLA Redevelopment Plan Amendment Project is to merge, modify, and extend certain provisions of the seven Redevelopment Project Areas into a single project and one SLA Redevelopment Plan. Considering all redevelopment opportunities, implementation of the redevelopment plan could allow for up to 19,359, 912 sf of commercial space, 3,335,791 sf of industrial development, 3,194,906 sf of other development (including public space, parking, institutional, and public facilities), as well as the development of up to 7,736 new residential units, over existing conditions in the plan area.
