The proposed project involves the demolition of an existing residential structure to allow for future redevelopment of the site in conjunction with the current C-1 zoning. Future redevelopment will likely be coordinated with adjoining properties. The existing structure has been determined to be potentially eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places or the California Register of Historic Resources as well as for designation as a City of Port Hueneme Landmark.
