Document Description
The project will realign portions of the creek and provide a lateral movement of the south or east bank of the creek to effect a wider less angular and restricted path. The project will be 6,950 long, covering 5.784 acres, moving 32,200 cy of material (unless additional widening is deemed necessary by Department of Fish and Game). The project will include widening of the existing creek by relocation of one existing creek bank away from the existing centerline of the creek and flattering the slope of relocated bank. Typically the bank relocation will be alternated from one side of the creek to the other to produce additional curves in the creek alignment and to protect fixed connection improvements. An additional part of the project is the replacement of the sharp angle turns in the existing creek alignment with smooth large radius curves.
