Document Description
The East Campus Parking Structure is located in UCSD's East Campus Medical Center in the East Campus Health Services (ECHS) neighborhood. The East Campus Parking Structure would be located on an approximately 7.0-acre site bound on the north by existing undeveloped land and recreational uses, to the south by Medical Center roadways and buildings, to the east by recreational uses, and to the west by the I-5 corridor. The campus proposes to construct the new facility to meet the immediate needs of the ECHS neighborhood related to proximate parking at East Campus Medical Center. The parking structure would range from two to five levels with 1,253 parking spaces for patient/visitor and staff. A synthetic turf, multi-purpose recreation field would be constructed on a portion of the upper level to accommodate a variety of UCSD recreational activities.
