Document Description
Note: Extended Review The proposed project would construct and operate a solar photovoltaic power generating facility that would generate a combined 150 MW of electricity on 1,175 acres within the A FPS (Exclusive Agriculture Floodplain Secondary Combining) and E(5) RS FPS (Estate 5 Acres/Floodplain Secondary Combining) zone districts, in unincorporated portions of southeastern Kern County, CA. Power generated by the proposed facility would ultimately be delivered from the project substation to the Whirlwind Substation, required the construction of interconnection facilities at the substation. Two alternative route lines are being considered for the generation-tie line, both located primarily within existing public road right-of-ways.
