The project involves the development of a 20 MWp, alternating current (A/C) solar power generating installation on 191 acres of a 320 acre, undeveloped parcel. The project will result in permanent impacts to 191 acres of Mohave ground squirrel and desert tortoise habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take Mohave ground squirrel and desert tortoise, species protected by the CA Endangered Species Act. The DFG is issuing the incidental take permit referenced above as a responsible agency under the CEQA.
