Document Description
CDFW has executed Amendment 1 to Streambed Alteration Amendment Agreement No. 1600-2014-0042-R4, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Panoche Valley Solar, LLC.
The project includes stream alterations at 4 locations within the Panoche Valley Solar Farm project to construct one road crossing, fences, a stormwater detention basin, and photovoltaic (PV) solar panel arrays; flattening of stream channels to bring topography within the tolerance required for PV array installation. Tires, scrap metal, farm equipment, and other dumped material will be removed from streams at nine locations on habitat compensation lands and hauled to a landfill. California tiger salamander breeding pond construction projects will occur at two additional locations. Amendment No. 1 reduced the number of stream alterations within the Solar Farm from 29 to 4.
