SAA #1600-2010-0008-R6 The proposed project is to conduct a Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) of the Upper Gorge Power Plant Turbine Runner. In oder to conduct this NDE on the Turbine Runner, the area must be dewatered by shutting off penstock flows upstream at the Upper Venturi Chamber, lowering the tailbay to stream flows and reducing stream flows from 36 cfs to 16 cfs. To conduct this stream flow reduction, flows shall be ramped down at a rate of 5 cfs every 6 hours.
