Document Description
The Applicant intends to provide bioengineered slope protection to prevent further slope failure that may undermine Tuna Canyon Road at mile Marker 5.04. Excessive runoff during the 2005 storms caused the road and the hillside to fail along Tuna Canyon Road. The bioengineered slope protection at Mile Marker 5.04 will consist of placing 15 to 48-inch diameter rocks at the toe of the stream over a sand layer of coir mat over unclassified fill and nonwoven geotextile.
