Document Description
The project will consist of a feasibility study to determine facility improvements needed to achieve compliance with the arsenic MCL for the District's Well No.2 and Well No. 1. The study will include drilling a test well (to a depth of 1,800 feet below site grade) and conducting zone testing to obtain data needed to design a production well and determine water quality characteristics. The test well will be abandoned in compliance with state and local requirements after testing is completed. Test well findings will be used to determine if treatment facilities will be required to remove arsenic (or other constituents).
