Document Description
UCR proposes to construct a trasnfer station to collect and consolidate waste and recyclables in order to facilitate diversion of the campus waste stream. The proposed Transfer Station site is an approximately .6 acre relatively flat, disturbed area that was previously utilized for agricultural activities and is currently partially occupied by a fenced area with cargo containers used for storage of recyclables. The Transfer Station will consist of an approximately 17,640 square foot concrete slab on grade located immediately north of the UCR Parking Lot 30.
