- Phase 2B and 3 occur along existing levees located south of 1st St. and east of A St., 12th St., and Hwy 20. Phase 2B: A soil bentonite (SB) wall will be constructed through the center of the levee using the Open Trench Method. The wall would span approx. 5, 1000 ft. in length, have a max. depth of 55 ft., and min. thickness of 3 ft. Phase 3: A SB or soil cement bentonite wall, using Open Trench or Deep Mix method, depending on depth, will be constructed through the center of the levee. The wall would span approx. 9,700 ft in length, have a max. depth of 130 ft., and min. thickness of 3 feet.
