Document Description
The Three Rivers Levee Improvement Authority proposes to complete necessary levee improvements on the Yuba River South Levee (YRSL) in the Reclamation District (RD) 784 service area. The Upper Yuba Levee Improvement Project is located in the southern portion of Yuba County along the YRSL. The project area is located upstream of the confluence of the Yuba River and Feather River, east of the City of Marysville, and ~1 mile south of the Yuba River. The proposed project would provide enhanced flood protection within the Yuba River Basin, and would involve installing slurry walls, seepage berms, levee geometry corrections, levee slope erosion protection, and relief wells in the project area. The proposed improvements would occur along the YRSL between Simpson Lane and the Yuba Goldfields.
