Document Description
The project includes construction of a 47-acre "offline" stromwater detention basin on the northern bank of Alamo Creek that would detain peak storm flows for the purposes of reducing flooding and property damage. The basin will have a detention storage volume of 616 acre-feet with a detention period of 24 to 72 hours. The project includes construction of a berm surrounding the basin, installation of inlet and outlet structures and a spillway. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2011-0184-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, James Loomis/ City of Vacaville, Public Works Department.
