Document Description
The Department of Waste Management plans to implement an SPA on properties owned by Sacramento County. The SPA will consist of two districts: the 100 acre Waste Stream Industry District and the 775 acre Landfill District. The Waste Stream Industry District is intended to provide options for solid waste related business development that will recycle waste materials into marketable products and in so doing will reduce the waste entering the landfill. The Landfill District encompasses the landfill area. The SPA also identifies projects that are permitted versus projects that will require a conditional use permit.
