Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2011-0042-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Placer County Department of Public Works.
The project is limited to removal of the existing Brewer Road Bridge where it crosses Markham Ravine and construction of a new concrete bridge in its place at the same site. Current bridge abutments will be removed and new abutments will be constructed further back. The outfalls from roadside drainage ditches into Markham Ravine will be rocked to minimize continuing bank cutting from storm runoff. While work is ongoing within the stream channel water will be diverted around the project area.
