Drilling of four new gas wells (2 development wells and 2 exploratory wells), installation of 2,800 feet of 6-inch underground piping, construction and operation of a new dehydration plant, and other appurtenant facilities at the existing La Goleta Gas Storage Field. SCG estimates 3-5 billion cubic feet of recoverable gas reserves and production of these reserves will require 3-5 years. The new facilities would be converted to storage uses after sufficient depletion of the native gas reserves has been achieved. Please refer to the Revised Draft EIR (Section 3.0) for additional project description details.
