Document Description
CDFW is executing a Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0216-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Permittee, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, represented by Mr. Clarence Martin.
The Owens Gorge Flow Restoration project includes the protection, reinforcement, and/or modifcation of some existing LADWP facilities within the Gorge, and installation of a fishway. Five of the seven project have been completed; this agreement addresses the final two projects, located at middle Gorge Power Plant. These will entail the construction of maintenance pad adjacent Middle Gorge Power Plant tailbay and the replacement of a bypass flume along the stream channel. The project will authorizes temporary dewatering of portions of the Owens River, temporary alterations to in-stream flow releases, permanent and temporary impacts to the streambed and adjacent habitat. Equipment staging will be located in upland locations.
