Document Description
DGS is proposing to replace and upgrade the Gunsight Peak California Highway Patrol (CHP) telecommunications facility to meet the CHP's Enhanced Radio System requirements. The project site is located on Klamath National Forest lands approximately seven air miles west of the City of Yreka in Siskiyou County. The project would include the construction of a new 120-foot tower to replace the existing CHP microwave tower and wooden antenna poles, as well as the addition of a propane tank and pad.
