Document Description
Install a new restroom adjacent to the performance stage and replace a restroom adjacent to park entrance at Benbow Lake State Recreation Area for park visitor use. Restrooms will meet the requirements on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards. Excavate two pits approximately 12' long x 14' wide x 5' deep; install a pre-fabricated vault in each pit; and place an approximately 12' long x 15' wide x 12' tall pre-fabricated, two-stall restroom on top of each vault. No connection to utilities will be required: no water supply or leach field.

Project consists of replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same propose and capacity as the structure replaces; construction and location of limited number of new, small facilities or structures; and minor public alterations in the condition of land and/or vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry purposes; included as "construction or installation of park facilities, such as restrooms" in the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities, in accordance with CCR section 15300.4.
