The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to install "Ground-in Ruble Strip panels, aka "Buzz Strips" on State Route 101 in Del Norte County-NB near Hamilton Road; State Route 20-Lake County at the EB approach to the 20/53 JCTN; State Route 53-Lake County at the NB approach to the 20/53 JCTN. This project is needed to reduce the number of run-off-road collisions & provide audible warning to vehicles.
