Document Description
The project covered by the Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA) consists of routine maintenance activities in channels that are within the right of way or drainage easement, of a state route or interstate highway, in order to maintain their function and capacity to prevent flooding that could damage the roadway or adjacent properties, cause a safety hazard. The activities covered by the SAA only include those with very limited or no impact to native vegetation communities, and no impacts to sensitive species. In addition, the SAA conditions also limit any potential impacts to all native species that may be in the vicinity of the maintenance activities.
