Document Description
To submit an application to the Department of Energy for the Federal Energy Efficiency Community Block Grant (EECBG) program for the purpose of replacement of existing light fixtures with more energy efficient lights inside the City owned/maintained buildings and parking lots. Specifically, the City's application includes the replacement of all T12 fluorescent lamps with higher efficiency 28-watt T8 fluorescent lamps, replacement of all magnetic ballasts with instant start electronic ballasts and the use of LED lamps for streetlights and parking lot lights.
