Document Description
This restoration project is located within the Oceano Dunes Vehicular Recreation Area, along the southern most reach of Pismo Creek. The Pioneer Dune and the Fourdune plant communities in this area have destabilized due to foot traffic and high winds, resulting in approximately one acre of Pioneer Dune habitat and approximately five acres of moving sand to encroach upon North Beach Campground and the neighboring Pismo Beach RV Park.
