The Sierra Foothill Conservancy is seeking $588,300 in Sierra Nevada Conservancy Proposition 84 to fund the acquisition of a conservation easement on the Atkinson-Piasecki Ranch. The Atkinson-Piasecki Ranch is a 680-acre family ranch used for cattle grazing and is located on the south side of Black Mountain within the Dry Creek watershed. The purpose of the conservation easement is to preserve the water resources, diverse flora and historic and viable working landscape on the property.
