Document Description
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) proposes to dewater, inspect, and conduct repairs of the Upper Feeder pipeline along its length in Riverside and Los Angeles counties in January 2010. The pipeline will be dewatered at several locations along the length of the Upper Feeder to accomplish the inspection and repairs. A leaking expansion joint will be repaired at the location the Upper Feeder crosses the Santa Ana River in a bridge structure. Equipment and materials will be staged on the south side of the Santa Ana River. Repairs will be conducted from a work platform that will be constructed on the bridge structure.
