Document Description
The Mitigated Negative Declaration evaluates the Plan provides guidance to City staff to enhance the pedestrian experience and infrastructure: identifies opportunities and constraints with respect to the existing pedestrian system; evaluates trends in pedestrian usage, demand, and safety; identifies a list of projects and programs to enhance the pedestrian environment; identifies areas where further feasiblity studies are necessary to evaluate proposed improvements; prioritizes recommended projects and develop a long-term strategy for implementation; identifies likely funding sources for identified projects and programs; and provide detailed guidelines, standards, and policies to ensure that all projects undertaken in the City incorporate best practices for pedestrian design.
