Document Description
The project is the 2009 Housing Element Update for the City of Manteca. The City previously updated its Housing Element in 2003. The 2009 Housing Element is a comprehensive review and update of the 2003 Housing Element. The updated Element serves a 7 1/2 year planning period from January 1, 2007, to June 30, 2014. No housing development are being approved as part of the Housing Element adoption. The Housing Element, in itself, would not directly result in changes to the physical environment. Housing developments undertaken in the course of implementing the goals, policies, and programs identified in the 2009 Housing Element will be subject to project-specific environmental review in accordance with Section 10562 et seq. of the CEQA Guidelines.
