Document Description
The Box Springs Feeder Repair Phase 3 Project is limited to the repair of damaged sections of the Box Spring Feeder, a pipeline which conveys raw water produced by the California State Water Project from the California Department of Water Resource's Santa Ana Valley Pipeline to the Applicant's Henry J. Mills Water Treatment Plant in Riverside. The Box Springs Feeder was constructed in 1975 and is 96 inches in diameter and ~2.26 miles in length. The project includes the repair of 12 pipe sections using 5 excavation sites; 3 of the excavation sites (Site Nos. 2, 3, and 4) are located within the Permittee's right-of-way within Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Park in Riverside.
