Document Description
The Project is a comprehensive update of the 1991 City of Hesperia General Plan and applies to all properties within the City of Hesperia and its adjoining Sphere of Influence. The General Plan update addresses the seven state-mandated general plan elements (Land Use, Housing, Circulation, Safety, Open Space, Conservation, and Noise). The updated General Plan establishes an overall development capacity for the City and its SOI, and serves as a policy guide for determining the appropriate physical development and character of the City. The City has undertaken a comprehensive update of the General plan to reflect the growth that has occurred in the City since the adoption of the 1991 General Plan, as well as anticipated growth through 2030.
