Document Description
The proposed project consists of the renovation and expansion of the Marguerite Tennis, Aquatics, and Recreation Center Complex at 23840 Marguerite Parkway, in the R (Recreation) and RPD 6.5 (Residential Planned Development) zones. The proposed renovation and expansion project includes providing additional parking, and the removal of one tennis court and the addition of two tennis courts for a total of eight (8) tennis courts with new lighting. The project also includes renovating the area where the removed tennis court was located by turning it into the main entry for facilities, a car turnaround, additional parking, and a small office area for the aquatics program. The existing tennis center building would also be demolished and replaced with an expanded, ADA accessible, similar building of approximately 1,929 square feet in size located slightly south of the existing building. The small parking lot adjacent to the existing tennis center building would be replaced with the new tennis center building and terraced spectator seating for the tennis courts.
