CDFG is intending to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (SAA# 1600-2009-0335-R5) to the project applicant, Fallbrook Elementary School District. This agreement authorized the removal from the watercourse of non-living obstructions such as tree stumps, dead limbs, and debris as well as non-native shrubs and herbaceous species including castor bean (Ricinus communis), Pride of Madeira (Echium candicans), common periwinkle (Vinca Major), and red apple ice plant (Aptenia cordifolia). This agreement does not authorize the removal of mature, live trees, or tree snags (dead or partially dead trees that are still standing) from the watercourse.
