Document Description
DFG is intending to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Earth Discovery Institute. The applicant proposes to alter the stream to repair erosion and a stream crossing by removing and replacing the culvert, improving a high-flow by-pass channel, and removing built-up sediment upstream of the crossing. The project will remove one juvenile coast live oak tree that is rooted between the headwalls of the existing crossing. Approximately 150 cubic yards of soil and sediment will be excavated from within the project limits and stockpiled in the disturbed areas of the existing roadbed. SAA #1600-2009-0285-R5.
