Document Description
The Castro Valley Boulevard (CVB) Streetscape Trunk Sewer Improvements include the construction of approximately 7,200 feet of new sewers and 45 new manholes, and abandonment of 4,000 feet of existing sewer and 16 manholes. These improvements are primarily new 18-inch and 24-inch diameter trunk sewers to replace a parallel existing sewers that do not have sufficient capacity to convey existing peak wet weather flows. This sewer segment is a relocation of two Master Plan projects, including the entire Anita Avenue and Somerset Avenue Trunk Sewer project (Priority 2) and a portion of Redwood Road Trunk Sewer (Priority 4).
