WITHDRAWN - Garberville Sanitary District Water System Improvement Project

NOTE: MND WITHDRAWN PER LEAD 01/26/2010 This project proposes the construction of a new 670,000- 1,000,000 gallon water storage tank to be located on APN: 223-06-018 also known as the "Johnson Property". (Figure 3-GSD Water Facilities Plan) The Johnson tank site is approximately 260 feet higher in elevation than the existing Hurlbutt tank site, allowing the town's water system to be fed by gravity from this new main storage tank. Water would be extracted from the existing surface water intake and pumped up to the existing Garberville water system and then to the new water storage tank via the Oak Street Booster Station. Water would flow by force of gravity back down to the water system in the town of Garberville and to the Oak Street Booster Station for distribution.
