Document Description
Gladding McBean proposes to close in place a 10,000 cy soil stockpile containing a small amount of ceramic glazing compounds. To assure the stockpile will not erode or leach contaminants, the stockpile will be graded, capped with clay and topsoil and re-vegetated. Groundwater monitoring will assure no contaiminants are leaching from the soil. The stockpile is located adjacent to Markham Ravine, and will be deeded to natural preservation area to assure no disturbance in the future.
