Document Description
Gladding McBean Corporation owns a soil stockpile located on land in Lincoln, California (Figure 1). The stockpile consists of approximately 10,000 cubic yards of dredged native sediments, mixed with native and imported refractory clay materials and small amounts of various till glazing compounds. The stockpile was generated by the closure of permitted wastewater ponds formerly located on the plant site owned by Gladding McBean. Gladding McBean plans to close in place and cap the stockpile. The CVRWQCB proposes to use the standards provided in Title 27 of the California Code of Regulations (27 CCR) Waste Management Unit Closure and Post-Closure Maintenance regulations as a guideline in approving and overseeing the proposed closure plan.
