Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement 1600-2016-0029-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game code to the project Applicant, Placer County Department of Public Works. The project will replace the existing narrow bridge along Dowd Road at Markham Ravine, just south of Nicolaus Road. The project consists of replacing the existing reinforced concrete slab bridge with two-span cast in place post tensioned slab. The new bridge and roadway approaches will accommodate two-lanes of traffic. A detour route will be provided along adjacent local roads including Williams Lane, Canal Road, Moore Road, and Nelson Lane. The project includes the demolition of the existing bridge. The replacement bridge will consist of a 2-lane, 2-span cast in space, post tensioned slab measuring 125 feet long and 35 feet wide. The new bridge and roadway approaches will accommodate two 12-foot lanes and two 4-foot wide shoulders, and a standard Caltrans Type ST-10 bridge rail. *SEE NOD FOR FULL DETAILS
