Document Description
The 2009 Triennial Report and Plan Revision pursuant to California Health and Safety Code section 40925, identifies "all feasible measures" the District will study or adopt over the next three years. The proposed control measures are: Architectural Coatings, Asphaltic Concrete, Automotive Refinishing, Natural Gas Fired Water Heaters, Natural Gas Production and Processing, Stationary Internal Combustion Engines, Vehicle and Engine Technology Market-Based Incentive Program, Construction and Land Use Mitigation Program. In addition, control measures proposed for further study include: Additional Transit: Light Rail and Bus Rapid Transit and Promote Bicycle and Pedestrian Programs. This report also describes historical trends in air quality, updates emissions inventories, and evaluates the District's implementation of air pollution control measures. The California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Negative Declaration/Initial Study evaluation identifies less than significant impacts on air quality, hazardous materials, water quality, and solid waste management.
