Document Description
The project involves the installation of 59 wind turbine generators (WTG) and foundations, access roads, control cables, power collection cables, and an electrical substation. The project will permanently remove 15 acres and temporarily impact 65 acres of California tiger salamander (Ambystoma californiense) habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of California tiger salamander, which is designated as a threatened species under the California Endangered Species Act. Minor Amendment No. 2, at issue here, adds two Permittees to the ITP and does not change the scope of impacts or the conditions of the ITP. The ITP reference above as issued by DFG authorizes incidental take of California tiger salamander subject to various terms and conditions, including the requirement that all authorized impacts are fully mitigated.
