The proposed project involves the demolition of an existing 24-room/48-bed rest home facility and construction of a new 2,875 square foot, 35-room/50-bed special hospital for acute rehabilitation services (herein referred to as the "project" or "acute rehabilitation facility"). Construction of the projct would also require excavation of earth to a depth sufficient to accommodate a proposed 16,855 square foot single level subterranean parking garage and foundation engineering. The new building would be three stories, at a maximum of 35 feet in height (40 including parapets).
